RAAC concrete
Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete — a lightweight concrete used in UK construction from the 1950s to the 1990s. RAAC has been found to have a finite lifespan and is now being removed from public buildings (schools, hospitals). Some private residential properties contain RAAC and require specialist surveys.
