Cladding remediation
The process of removing or treating unsafe external cladding on a residential building. Post-Grenfell, the government has funded remediation for buildings over 18 metres with ACM and similar cladding systems. Leaseholders in affected buildings are protected from the cost, but the properties remain difficult to sell until remediation is complete.
